Our tailgates are the heartbeat of Crabtown Blues. What started as a small group of supporters gathering before matches has grown into one of the largest and most recognizable pre-match scenes at Navy–Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. On matchdays, our tailgates regularly draw large crowds of supporters, families, and first-timers who want to be part of something loud, welcoming, and unmistakably Annapolis.
With music, food, flags, drums, and constant movement, the tailgate is where friendships are formed and traditions are built. It’s common for people to arrive hours before kickoff just to take it all in. Whether you’re grabbing a drink, learning a chant, or meeting someone you’ll stand next to all season, the tailgate is where the matchday experience truly begins.
For Crabtown Blues, the tailgate isn’t just a warm-up — it’s the foundation of our culture. It’s where the energy is set, where the noise starts, and where our presence is felt long before kickoff. When we move from the lot into the stadium, we don’t trickle in — we march, carrying that momentum straight into the stands. The tailgate is how we show who we are, how big we are, and why Crabtown Blues is impossible to ignore on matchday.
